The tread separation at edge top of tire, yokohama parada spec-x p275/45r20. Driving on highway I-44. Started filling a weird vibration in the steering wheel. Stopped and found tore tread on tire.

Yokohama parada spec-x tire, r275/45/r20 tread separation from belt. Second tire to do so since the start of 2024. Had to buy another brand name and tire after second tire separated from belts on 07/03/2024, causing me to spend $983. 59 on new tires. There definitely something wrong with this line of yokohama tires.

285/40r21 at the end of a vermont ski trip, left to return home on the morning of 3/15/23 at approximately 8am. Outside temperature was approximately 30 deg f and it was snowing. Due to partially snow-covered roadways, speeds were limited to 35-40 mph. After driving for approximately 20 minutes, the tire pressure warning indicated, followed approximately 30 seconds later by catastrophic sidewall failure and complete tire deflation. The rapid loss of tire pressure combined with the slippery road service was extremely dangerous and we were very fortunate in steering the car to a safe parking area without losing control or colliding with other nearby vehicles. Audi roadside assistance was contacted and the car was towed to a local dealer. Upon inspection, the failed tire (original oem supplied) showed no evidence of puncture, only catastrophic failure of the sidewall. The failed tire is being held at the dealer in rutland, vt. Because of a similar failure on 11/12/22 with another of the (4), original oem tires, all (4) tires were replaced with pirelli tires as it was no longer safe to continue driving on any of the original continentals.

285/40r21 I was pulling out of a parking lot onto rt 40, a secondary, 2-lane road, at approximately 6pm. As I accelerated to approximately 30 mph, without warning I heard a loud noise and felt the pull of the right front tire. I pulled off into a gas station parking area that was nearby and was very fortunate to have avoided an accident due to the significant traffic at the time. Upon inspection, the tire had a complete and catastrophic failure of the sidewall, stranding me at that location until Audi roadside assistance transported the vehicle to our local dealer approximately an hour later.

The contact owns a 2014 Audi Q7 equipped with nexen hp, tire line: roadian, tire size: 275/45/r20, dot number: 8yehdecr2122. The contact stated that after washing her vehicle she noticed that a bubble had formed on the side wall of the passenger’s side front tire. The contact stated that the front tires were constantly losing air. The contact stated that this was the fourth set of tires that had a failure from the same retailer. The contact had originally purchased the first set of tires over one year ago, and all the tires had experienced the failures. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate vehicle failure mileage was 120,000. The tire failure mileage was approximately 1,200.

Noticed front goodyear eagle sport 285/45r20 tread are cracking and peeling. This is my second set of at the same oem tire having the same phenomenon as original tires that came with vehicle when purchase new. Per dealership, this is a known issue with goodyear tires and was recommended to switch to pirelli tires. Current tires are still under manufacture warranty but if there is a known issue, why is goodyear still selling tire? this failure seems to occur after about 15k to 18k miles of usage. Concern tread will tear apart at high speed and could cause an accident on there road.

Two blow outs 2 months apart on set of tires. Normal highway driving. First one was right front tire while traveling on freeway - the second blow out was right rear tire while traveling on highway. All tires were purchased new on June 9th 2014.

Purchased four continental cross contact tires 265/50 r19 from arlington auto & tire poughkeepsie NY on 6/7/2011 for my 2007 Audi Q7 3. 2 with the guarantee of getting approx 40000 miles on the tires. On 7/4/2012 with only 13000 miles tires completely bald with my wife driving around with a 4yr old and a 2yr old. Tires rotated properly, either defected or advertised improperly.
