Audi Quattro owners have reported 3 problems related to tire sidewall (under the tire category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I own/drive a 2002 a4 Audi quatro with pirelli tires p6 215/55r16 93h. Within the past 15 months, I have had three tires develop sidewall bubbles that have ruptured and subsequently caused the tire to go flat. The tires all had to be replaced, as they were not able to be repaired. I have contacted Audi and pirelli, but they assure me it is not the tire, but the poor condition of the roadways (potholes, etc. ) there are only 30k miles on my car, which is not nearly enough mileage to warrant ware to the point of developing such drastic tire problems. Aside from the repeated incurred monetary costs for replacing tires, there is now a significant safety cost involved if the tires ruptures while I am driving on a highway at an accelerated speed.
