One problem related to air bag not deploy has been reported for the 2000 Audi S4. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
A frontal collision with another vehicle at 50 mph. Upon impact, driver's air bag did not deploy, and the steering wheel came off the steering column. Neither the driver nor the one passenger was injured. Both parties were wearing seat belts.
