general problems of the 2001 Audi S4

Four problems related to tire have been reported for the 2001 Audi S4. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Tire problem

Failure Date: 04/07/2002

Of five of these tires supplied as new equipment, two have failed catastrophically after approximately 10,000 miles; one at approximately 23,200 miles. These are very expensive tires, supposedly high performance. Tire pressure was monitored using both electronic and mechanical pressure gauges, tires were kept at the recommended pressure of 42 psig. Pressure checks on the remaining 3 tires after each failure revealed that they were properly inflated to 42 psig. (tiresize: 225/45r17).

2 Tire problem

I feel that I am unsafe in my brand new car because of the tires.

3 Tire problem

Failure Date: 01/01/1901

Dissatisfied with the cut off date pertaining to the 2001 Audi a4 unsafe tires and wheels. (nar).

4 Tire problem

Buble appeared on right front tire without impact. Dealer replaced tire without charge. (tiresize: 225/45 r17)( dot number: tire size: 225/45 r17 ).
