Other Fuel System problem #1

Hi - the crankcase ventilation valve extended warranty awa-18-03 covers only ten years or 120k miles. My car has close to 160k miles. According to NHTSA or Audi, “Audi has determined that, in some vehicles, it is possible for the crankcase ventilation valve too malfunction, causing a whistling noise in the engine compartment and the mil to illuminate due to the presence of specific fault codes caused by this component. This condition may impact the vehicle tailpipe emissions, and the presence of a mil-on condition may cause the vehicle to fail an im (smog) test. ” this is causing the engine to rev on its own, foul odor, consume more oil and gas, mil-on, and potentially cause the im (smog) test to fail regardless of years or miles and a safety issue. Please add this matter to recall rather than extended warranty and is likely related to NHTSA campaign number: 22v178000 which is causing oil separator and coolant pipe issues that need to be covered. Other Fuel System problem #2

Recently learned that my car broke down on my spouse in an extremely unsafe location due to turbo failure(s) probably caused by the turbo oil inlet screen. She was on a busy street when the car shut off on her putting her in an extremely unsafe situation to move the car and wait for tow truck service. The car is still with the Audi dealership for repairs but has been confirmed that this is the likely incident and fixing it will likely prevent further issues. This car has only been to Audi certified technicians at dealerships for the entire time I've owned the car and I was never notified that this is a common occurrence in these models with the turbo. Numerous online forums are dedicated to discuss the common occurrence when researching this particular issue going back a few years, mostly astounding a recall hasn't been issued. There was no warning lamp for the issue to warn us of the impending failure.

Pursuant to outstanding recall repair: fuel tank leaks substantially when filled over 1/2 tank. Zimbrick Audi of madison, WI confirms symptom, and confirms that fuel tank needs to be replaced pursuant to faulty rollover valve nipple. Audi of America is not currently offering a resolution as they claim replacement fuel tank is no longer available. The car has been unavailable to me for over a week. There is no resolution in sight.

Other Fuel System problem #4

Fuel is leaking from the top of the driver side of fuel tank. Appears to be near to rollover nipple that was previously recalled in 2010. Result: accumulation of fuel near exhaust - fire hazard.

With only 53,000 miles on my 2013 Audi S6 both turbo charges failed and Audi is now charging me $9,000 to replace both turbo charges which are supposed to last 100,000 to 125,000 miles. This issue occured while on the road idling at a light and caused the car not to be able to start and to shake the vehicle violently.

Other Fuel System problem #6

Turbo power feels to have gradually declined upon approaching 50k miles. It is caused by clogged turbo oil screens. $3000+ repair with no help from Audi brand and dealer for a widely known issue. Additionally the O2 sensors have randomly throw error for running lean. Replaced O2 sensor but issue came back. Have already tested maf sensor and vetted for vacuum, exhaust leaks. Also a known issue with no help from Audi brand/dealer.

Other Fuel System problem #7

Multiple turbo failures. Engine shook violently then suddenly stopped in the middle of the road. This same issue happened 3 times affecting both turbos. It may be due to faulty oil filter/strainer. From online research (link below) this is a common problem for c7 Audi S6. . Read more...

Other Fuel System problem #8

My turbo chargers blew due to oil starvation while driving about 45mph in the city while driving straight.

Other Fuel System problem #9

Suspension was replaced at 40,000 miles do to normal wear and tear. That was Audi excuse. Suspension was replaced again at 63,000 miles. Engine mounts and transmission mounts were replaced at 63,000. Now at 75,000 miles, engine camshaft has failed and almost caused me to lose control of the car. Oil is changed every 3k miles and all maintenance is up to date and always done on time or before required. Car always smell like gas. Inspection found no issues. At this point, I am concerned with the safety of myself and my family because this car is a daily driver. I have contacted Audi of USA for assistance. But Audi is unresponsive. I have all service records but unable to upload due to file size restrictions.

Other Fuel System problem #10

Turbo failure - car stalled while slowing on a major interstate, causing multiple near-collisions. Audi is aware of the issue and the dangers of the failure, but has not issued a recall, even though they have issued multiple technical service bulletins regarding the issue and admitting to faulty parts causing the failure. It is only a matter of time before someone is injured or worse due to losing control of the vehicles acceleration and use of engine.
