I was driving my Audi when I got transmission malfunction light on along with suspension fault and epc light and check engine light all together and the car wouldn’t go faster than 20 mph. Causing someone to rear end me and them fleeing . So not only was my car hit because of this but I had no driver to hold responsible for the damage.

Was just driving down the highway at normal speed and my car lost all power, every like came up on the dash and disabled my power steering causing me to almost crash. Took it to the shop mechanic tells me the turbos failed due to oil screen and it will cost me $8,000 not sure why they failed I have amazing service records on my car. This needs to be a recall.
While driving my 2020 Audi S6, the vehicle suddenly lost power and completely shut off in the middle of the road without warning. There were no warning lights or messages beforehand. I was unable to accelerate or steer out of the way, which created a major crash risk for myself and other drivers. I had to have the vehicle towed to Audi of riverside for diagnosis and repair. The dealership confirmed the issue was related to recall 22v861 (gateway control module). I was never notified by Audi of this open safety recall prior to the incident. The problem was immediately confirmed by the dealership, and the vehicle has been in the shop since September 2024 — now over eight months — with no eta on parts from Audi and no resolution. During this time, Audi has not provided a loaner vehicle or rental support. I’ve continued to pay my monthly car note for a car I cannot use and have spent hundreds of dollars per month on uber and alternate transportation to get to work. Audi issued a $3,000 goodwill check, but that does not begin to cover my actual out-of-pocket costs. I also previously requested a vehicle buyback, which was denied. This is a serious safety defect that caused a dangerous on-road failure, and the manufacturer has failed to provide a timely or adequate remedy. The issue has been confirmed by the dealership, and the vehicle is still not repaired or returned to me. I’m requesting immediate investigation and enforcement regarding this unresolved recall and the unreasonable delay in resolution.

We, a group of Audi S6 owners with vehicles from the 2013-2017 model years, are experiencing premature mechatronic issues. These problems manifest as jerking when coming to a stop, which can lead to accidents, and intermittent power loss that can be life-threatening. These issues began around 40,000 miles and have progressively worsened, despite our vehicles having only approximately 70,000 miles on them. Given the early onset and severity of these problems, we strongly urge a recall. The current mechatronic design appears to be flawed and fails prematurely, posing significant safety risks.

All 2013 Audi s have a transmission issues where it cause the transmission to stop shifting or skips gears or clutch slips and Audi has not done anything about them this repair is expensive and millions of people experience this problem and Audi still won’t fix it.
I am having a transmission malfunction warning light on the dashboard that comes on. The car will not shift gears which is dangerous when driving in streets/highway. This is a known issue with the Audi S6 and related models and a class action lawsuit is in process. Audi is trying to charge few thousands dollars $8000-$12,000 to replace the mechatronic and clutch transmission system which is very prone to failure. Thank you.
My turbo chargers blew due to oil starvation while driving about 45mph in the city while driving straight.

I noticed my car wouldn’t engage in reverse when shifted so I took it in for a transmission flush and it was performed and 2 days later I got a light on dash saying transmission overheating . And the car completely lost power while on freeway and went from 60 to 20 miles per hour and will not shift past first gear . So I took it back in to dealer paid diagnostic fee and then was told my transmission was bad and had to be replaced and was quoted a price of 15683$.
Car stopped while driving on public road and shut off while on road. Cel went on and all systems lit up on dash as failed. T.
Transmission coolant valve failure. Audi has issued TSB for several models related to same failure mode. Coolant sprays from coolant valve onto electrical connectors internal to transmission causing corrosion within the connectors. Two fault modes. 1. Vehicle fails to start as vehicle doesn't know transmission condition (neutral, park or otherwise). 2. If you can get it to start - vehicle is in limp mode service 2wks to replace failed valve and repair corroded electrical connectors within transmission.
Turbo failure - car stalled while slowing on a major interstate, causing multiple near-collisions. Audi is aware of the issue and the dangers of the failure, but has not issued a recall, even though they have issued multiple technical service bulletins regarding the issue and admitting to faulty parts causing the failure. It is only a matter of time before someone is injured or worse due to losing control of the vehicles acceleration and use of engine.
Took in for 70k service because of loss of power and was notified turbos were bad, had both turbos replaced along with lines.
I put my car in reverse gear and then pressed slightly on the gas pedal. The car didn't move. I checked my hand brake and regular brake. Both were disengaged. So I pressed a little more and more. The engine began to growl like crazy and the car refused to even move. Then all of a sudden the car just launched itself. I nearly hit another car. It was very scary. I switched the car off and then tried again. This time no trouble. Similar thing happened when I was exiting a parking lot. Fired my car up, put my car in "d". Pressed on the gas pedal. Car wouldn't move. Pressed more and more, nothing !! the engine was growling like crazy all this while. Then suddenly the car launches itself like crazy. I almost hit another car coming from the opposite direction. Again, when I shut down the car and switched it back on it seemed to work fine. This happens very often. I have written to Audi but heard nothing.
The contact owns a 2002 Audi S6. The contact stated that when the brake pedal was released and the accelerator pedal was depressed in cold temperatures, the vehicle failed to accelerate. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where unknown repairs were performed. However, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer. The technician informed that the vehicle was operating as designed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 12,000.
