The vehicle was taken to an Audi dealer, and the diagnostic error codes reported by the dealer indicated that the vehicle's onboard computer sensed that the vehicle was going into a slide when it was driving straight down the road, and that the vehicle onboard computer system attempted to apply the brakes as corrective action. The dealer replaced a falty lateral angel sensor. The vehicle continues to have the abs and esp warning lights come on intermittently.
