I was informed about an engine component recall involving the water pump that was used when replacing the timing components at the vehicle's 100,000 mile service interval. The vehicle tends to start running a little over normal operating temperature while sitting still for more than 5-8 minutes after driving in weather over 60 degrees fahrenheit. The vehicle also runs at higher temperature than normal when driving in slower traffic (under 35mph) I believe the water pump used is part of the recall.
