Tire Sidewall problem #1

Firestone firehawk gt tire failed under normal driving conditions. Tire tread separated from interior sidewall. Tire was less than 2 years old and had logged fewer than 20,000 miles. Tire damage occurred on short trip (<5 miles) and driver recognized that the tire was damaged before driving the car again. Accordingly, there was no accident or injury.

Tire Sidewall problem #2

: the contact stated the passenger and driver's side rear tires and the passenger side front tire lost air. There were cracks in the sidewall of the tires and the cracks were getting progressively worse. The tires were goodyear, eagle tire; gp-h size: p205/55/r16. Tire Sidewall problem #3

Three continental sport contact tires, 225/45/r17, original equipment on BMW 323 with under 30,000 miles failed due to sidewall blowout and separation of sidewall from tread.

Tire Sidewall problem #4

Continental tire equipment on 2000 BMW 323 sidewall separated. The two right side tires flattened. On another occasion the rear left tire was destroyed in a similar way.

Both left tires, front and back failed after hitting a minor pothole at 35-40 miles per hour. Both tires experienced sidewall failure with approximately a 1/2inch break in the side wall. The split was parallel to the circumfrence of the tire. (tiresize: 225/45zr17)( dot number: tire size: 225/45zr17 ).
