One problem related to fuel hoses lines/piping and fittings has been reported for the 2001 BMW 325. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Fuel line ruptured. Eight gallons of raw gas poured out of the vehicle in three miles (no shut off valve). It happened on a cold engine, so there was no fire, but smoke was coming out of the engine compartment.
