Two problems related to tire sidewall have been reported for the 2001 BMW 325. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
After approximately 15,000 miles on goodyear eagle hp p205 55 r16 tires, the sidewalls are separating. The tire is rated for about 40,000 miles and the tread left on the tire is still substantial, however the tires must be replaced. They are extremely close to failure.
Rightt rear tire separated at highway speeds. Driver was able to keep control. Consumer indicated there was a cut in the sidewall.
