Five problems related to equipment have been reported for the 2005 BMW 325. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Front passenger side window regulator broke. Rolled window down would not go back up could hear motor working . One month later same exact thing just happened to back passenger window.
I was driving and my side air bag and door air bag on the driver side deployed with no cause for this to happen. I pulled over. Nothing at that time was smoking or wrong with the vehicle. I drove the vehicle further down the road for about ten minutes to get closer to my boyfriend's house. I stopped in a lot to call him. Put the car in park and turned the engine off and the front end on the right side started to smoke. I got out of the vehicle and the front end slowly bursted into flames.
While driving on busy streets, unexpected acceleration while trying to brake at red lights. . . The brakes do not work. Fortunately no bodily injuries, only smashed up cars. . . I will not drive that car again and I don't even feel good about selling it to someone else .
Driving vehicle and all power cuts out . . . No power steering or power brakes . . . Just stops dead . . . I know there has been a recall for this issue but my vehicle is not part of the recall. . . But obviously has a similar issue. . . This has happened on multiple occasions. . . And I am at the point where I am afraid to even drive it. . .
Wed morning went to school with my daughter. When I walked back to the car I could not unlock the car. Cannot unlock the vehicle with the remote key. Cannot open gas tank. Cannot unlock or open passanger doors. Power locks do not work at all. Tried to reprogram the key but not successful.
