One problem related to engine belts and pulleys has been reported for the 2000 BMW 328. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving normally, car shuts off while clutch is depressed. This happens while the car is moving. On one occasion it stalled on a counterclockwise highway on ramp. Power steering also shut off when car's engine stopped. Near accident occurred. Dealership repeatedly states no problem with vehicle.
