One recall was for air bag deployed I had the light for it on but it was on when I got it the original owner said it popped on him well he was parked and he never fixed it or did anything . . . The other was a part of the computer pretty much in charge of cooling the car down it can make fire from melting and cause unfixable/ to constant issues . . . . Well my hole engine stopped working it was getting too hot miss firing coolent mixing with oil and started to smoke it was white smoke that came out didn't smell like anything crazy maybe mostly coolent and pretty much it had electric issues since I got it so the recall issue makes sense so I took it in to BMW riverside they said they will fix all that and contact me it's been almost 2 weeks I live in my car I'm disabled and a mom I can't even go drive and see my child over this I have no income disabled type thing and no word what's wrong they said they might charge me a few of 287 but I'm disabled no income yet so that's out it tells me it will be fixed free and if the dealer won't fix the electric system on everything in the car and not charge me later like they said they will then I want to sue big time and if that's not dun when clearly safety was in danger fire issues and crap I want the same car but a new one off the lot not brand new car or fix then I'm sueing for my losses that simple.

My mat sensor in my passenger seat is not working properly. Nobody ever really sits in the passenger seat and the light came on stating that someone is sitting in the passenger seat when there is actually nobody sitting in the seat! which means the airbag will not deploy this seems to be an issue with many 09 BMW 328i vehicle’s! I noticed through research that vehicles prior to said year had same issues and was part of a recall. I feel this should also be part of a new recall with this vehicle year.
Consistent steam coming through hood of vehicle. Electrical panel indicators. Vehicle has been serviced regularly and sent to BMW mountain view for recall repairs.
Code is coming up for passenger seat occupancy sensor which possibly affects airbag deployment in the event of a collision. It has been noted that the passenger seat occupancy sensor has been a part of prior BMW for 2008 and earlier.
I'm having the same issue in https://static. Nhtsa. Gov/odi/tsbs/2014/mc-10148018-9999. Pdf but in my 2009 BMW, which is not covered under the current recall.
Vehicle needs an airbag replacement, and two electrical components fixed. One of those electrical components may lead to the car overheating which is extremely dangerous and a fire hazard. I have called the BMW roseville, CA dealership multiple times and they do not answer. I am concerned because I commute for work and I also drive around my pregnant wife and my 5 year old daughter.
Restraint system faulty warning came on.
Need replace.
Takata recall my BMW dealer/service center in mountain view, CA states that they do not have the e92 airbags to replace my defective airbag. They tell me it will take months to get a new airbag. I would like the NHTSA to contact BMW about this matter and encourage them to make this a top priority. I've been driving around with this defective part long enough, and BMW has a responsibility to act swiftly to reassure owners that they are on top of this. I would ultimately like my dealer to contact me with the part ASAP and have this repair completed.
Heat not working on car. Concerned about fire before recall is fixed. Plus, I am freezing in winter weather conditions. I have been told by dealership BMW has not released parts to fix. This is unacceptable.
Nhtsa #17v-683 NHTSA #17v-676 no remedy available.
I have an airbag warning and I was told that my car year make and model has an airbag recall. Many mechanics that specialize in BMW models keep telling me the same thing,.

" takata recall " : I remember the moment my car accident happened ( 7-18-17 ) : when I arrived del Mar pharmacy's parking lot ( 9008 e. Garvey Ave. Rosemead, CA 91770 ), absolutely I slowed down my car and approaching the parking space. When my car 's front tires touch one side of the pavement ( there are 2 pavements separated apart about 3 feet with soil where are planted with flowers, each pavement is approximately 1/2 foot thick and 1/2 foot high ). While I stepped on my car's break pedal, I felt the car suddenly lost control and it jumped on my side's pavement, and almost at the same time, both air bags burst, made the car ran over to almost a half of the distance between 2 pavements ( about more than 2 feet ) and hitting the rear of another parking car ( on opposite side of my car's parking space ( lot ). I didn't know what reason had made the breaking system didn't function well, then the car jumped on the pavement, and both air bags suddenly burst, made the car madly jump over to another side of parking space ( opposite side ) and made the accident serious ( 1 car's rear almost was crashed, another car's rear on the other side of parking space was hit by this car' s head . Finally, the police came to make the report, and my car was towed away to my friend's parking lot. After 1 week, I called the repair shop which fixed my car;s break system in June. Now it is still there, and waiting for BMW investigating more than 3 weeks already, but still without any result if you still have any questions, please just email me. I will do my best to explain every detail. Sincerely, yours : nguyen quach.

Takata recall complaint on the time it takes to get this fixed. I received noticed around March 2016, it is now December 2016, what is considered a timely remedy to this situation? 1 year? in other words, how long do I have to put my life at risk until this becomes remedied? I was involved in an accident previously that cause dmy car to be a total lost, should I consider myself lucky that the takata recall issue did not kill me? just waiting for someone to tell me I can bring my car in is driving me nuts. The dealers don't give me any information on how I can get this fixed on my own. And all they do is ask me if I received a letter yet. Well its been over half a year and still no letter.

Takata airbags BMW has not sent a second letter since March on the repair of the recall. That is unacceptable considering Honda gave their customers loaner vehicles until they are fixed. I called my local dealersip and they just basically said they cant do anything until I receive the second letter. I have a 3 year old and I fear for our safety daily. This is unacceptable the time frame when such a recall could potentially kill us. That was March. It is almost September.
