Tl- the contact owns a 2001 BMW 330 xi. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 30 mph, the panel light illuminated and had a rear light warning. The contact stated that he had looked into the trunk compartment and noticed that the tail lamp connector was melted. The contact stated that connector number three had melted on both ends. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that there was a recall (ea09019). However, his vehicle VIN was not included in the recall. The aproximate failure mileage was 187,000. Bd.

The contact owns aftermarket chrome arrow corner lights (manufacturer unknown, part #mhb17926/156). The contact felt that the lights were defective because they did not come with a seal.
