One problem related to tire sidewall has been reported for the 2001 BMW 330. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Regardless of weather or road conditions tires fail without warning if vehicle goes over a bump, covered pothole, etc. Tire will develop a "bubble" once vehicle goes over a bump or pothole, causing consumer to replace because concerned tire will blowout. Consumer had to replace all 4 tires since 11/27/02. Tires are rubbing against rim and have no "buoyancy".
