One problem related to manual transmission has been reported for the 2002 BMW 330. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving about 30 mph, car stopped and would not restart, towed to shop, was told I changed from low rpm to high rpm causing valve to bend. I was not driving fast and there was no reason to change from low rpm to high rpm they would not warranty a new engine/valve/head job. I had to pay from pocket.
