Two problems related to mechanical jack have been reported for the 2002 BMW 330. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The consumer's son was changing a flat tire when the original equipment jack broke. As a result the vehicle dropped, trapping his arm between the wheel and the vehicle. The plastic part of the jack broke.
Jack collapsed while changing a rear tire, causing injury to consumer's arm. Manufacturer was contacted. The jack is available for analysis.
