Eight problems related to seat belt have been reported for the 2008 BMW 335. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
During normal driving conditions the airbag and seatbelt tensioner system fail lights came on. We drove home and the lights stayed on ever since. Tried resetting the computer system but lights remain on.

Fourth incident - on-board diagnostics indicate "malfunction passenger restraint system" in eleven months for same problem. Service yet to be scheduled with dealer. I know there was recall for same problem in 2006 for BMW 3-series. I think BMW is installing faulty seat mats.

Seatbelt mechanism would not release when buckled, eventually the buckle would not even lock and drivers seatbelt rendered inoperable. Dealership removed the drivers seat and installed new seatbelt and latch system.
