One problem related to gasoline fuel system has been reported for the 2010 BMW 335. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
On Tuesday February 2nd 2010 my brand new (only 3859 miles on it) BMW 335i coupe started experiencing difficulty starting up (then engine would just turn and turn). Upon starting up, the engine idled very roughly, as if only firing on partial cylinders. No engine warning lights were observed at this time. Eventually the engine seemed to start running smoothly. During driving of the car later on the "engine malfunction - reduced power" light appeared. When traveling at a low rate of speed (aprox. 20mph) the engine shut off and I was forced to coast to the side of the road. This problem repeated itself several times until I was forced to call tow service to pick the car up and take it to the dealer for repair. Surveying the online community of BMW owners this appears to be a systemic problem with this make and model of car and so I am documenting this occurrence with me here in the hopes that BMW can be made to publicly recognize the problem and fix it for all concerned.
