Wiper Problems of BMW 335

Climate control safety defect. TSB si b64 06 13 was completed, defect still exists. It happens in both recirculate and fresh air settings. Upon driving in humid conditions climate control becomes inop. Evaporator ices over and fan makes loud noise but no air comes out of vents. This creates a dangerous situation as defrost/fog setting is inop and you can’t clear the windshield or see to drive.

Driving down the freeway at 60mph my sunroof exploded. No cars were in front of my vehicle ruling out a rock. It was coupled with a loud noise and glass falling into the car and down the back of the car.

Hello, I wanted to bring to attention the failing footwell modules in e9x generation Bmws. The modules have a high failure rate and when they become inoperable you lose your headlights, turn signals, locking and unlocking doors, power window control and the ability to move your mirrors. It is a serious safety concern that BMW has hidden from its customers as it is a known extended warranty but there is no recall for such an important component. I recently had my vehicle in to have it replaced and was declined as it had not failed enough. Essentially they want me to have an unsafe vehicle before the repair will be performed. I do have documentation that the unit is in the early stages of failing but BMW still refuses to honor the extended warranty.

I was on i95 north, headlight wiper system blew-out the headlight washer device during use.

I was driving on I-405n at around 70 mph, the pace of the very light traffic that night, and there were no other cars within 100 yards in front of me. There were no overpasses or pedestrians anywhere nearby. All of a sudden, my sunroof spontaneously shattered! a large piece of it broke off and then was blown backwards, bouncing off my roof and trunk, scratching the paint. The person driving behind me drove over the sunroof and shards of glass. Luckily, I had my sunroof sunshade closed which prevented the shards of glass from showering on me when the sunroof exploded.

The rubber seal around the frond windshield cracks and falls/flies off. I have had this happen on 2 different (2006, and 2010 with only 17000 miles) BMW 3 series. I have spoken to BMW and was told this is not a warranty item. Please look into this. It could a defective part that could cause great risk. Thanks.

Windshield washer pump suddenly stopped functioning. This is a safety issue.

My brand new car's window shield wiper stop working when I was driving on the highway with my son in a heavy raining day. Luckily it is close to home and there is no accident. My car is a brand new and only drove around 500 miles. Eventually, the dealer took about 4 days to fix the controller and wiper motor.
