1 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2007 BMW 3 Series

Failure Date: 06/10/2015

The front seat occupant protection mat in the 2007 BMW 328xi is displayed on my dash instrumentation for over a year. In the event of a crash the front passenger air bag could be deactivated resulting in personal injury. I looked up the recalls on this vehicle and it indicated that the model was recalled. I called BMW customer relations to inquire about the recall and the representative informed me that my vehicle VIN number was not part of the recall. I understand that numerous BMW owners have made a similar complaint about their vehicle and recalls are usually initiated in this manner. Regardless of the production time that my vehicle was made, my vehicle has the same defect as the other vehicles and should be replaced by BMW.

2 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2006 BMW 3 Series

Failure Date: 05/12/2015

I was driving from school and push the gas and 15mph the car jerked in transmission light came on. The car went into safe mode. I could not drive over 40 mp. The dealer ship said the transmission mechatronic may have malfunction. Something inside of the transmission the manufacturer build it with a plastic valve cover it's common on BMW the transmission failure. There are over 67,000 complaints on line for the same issue. Where is the recall!. You pay for this expensive car to pay 7000 to fix. I am looking to start a law suit if they don't recall and fix this common expensive problem!.

3 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2009 BMW 3 Series

Failure Date: 11/28/2014

Upon returning to seattle, wa, since I flew down to berkley, CA to purchase my vehicle, I noticed excessive headlamp shake when going over any bumps on the highway, especially expansion joints. Both left and right headlamps shake equally as bad, and I consider that a safety hazard while driving. It is very distracting and searching many online forums, people have been having many issues with the adaptive headlamp bracket arms being broken. Cpo warranty does not cover headlamps according to BMW, and they are not willing to pay for both replacements.

4 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2010 BMW 3 Series

Failure Date: 04/01/2013

Driver side floor mat curled up at front and was captured by clutch pedal when changing gear. When clutch was again engaged, mat was pulled up and interfered with subsequent brake operation before freeing itself and falling back onto floor well. Since problem was intermittent, it took a while to figure out.
