One problem related to other fuel system tank assembly has been reported for the 2002 BMW 525. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Gas gauge did not work. Vehicle ran out of gas while indicator showed 1/8 of a tank. Gas indicator light never came on to show that fuel was low. Also, almost had an accident because vehicle stopped suddenly with no warning. Fuel gauge was replaced.
