One problem related to engine clicking and tapping noises has been reported for the 2007 BMW 525. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Clicking noise on car often. After researching there were more complaints of the same problem happening with other BMW's. Was told by the BMW service center that the lifters need replacing. There are faulty lifters on the car could eventually ruin the engine head.
