Three problems related to brake disc rotor have been reported for the 1997 BMW 528. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving brake lights came on. Took vehicle into the dealer, and they advised the consumer that front and back brakes and rotors were bad. Vehicle also didn't pass the inspection. Dealer will only take $200. 00 off for service. Cinsumer said that there was only 10,000 miles on the car when taken it into the dealer.
Brake roters wore out prematurely at 38,000 miles. Replaced right & left front roters.
Brake rotors failed, due to moderate wear.
