One problem related to steering wheel has been reported for the 1999 BMW 528. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The tilt function on the steering wheel ramdonly activates which results in the steering wheel moving up and down which is a surprise to the driver. I am concerned that this could result in loss of control of the vehicle. No error indicators show up on the instrument panel.
