My car was parked in front of my house stationary I was changing the battery when I put the battery in and connected it the airbags blew up destroyed the dash steering wheel and cracked the front windshield this car is off and parked.

3 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 03/15/2005

The consumer was driving 65 mph on the highway when suddenly the air bags deployed. The manufacturer initially agreed to do the repairs on the vehicle. However, they have not made any additional contact with the consumer. Both the driver's side door mounted air bags front and rear deployed along with the head protection system on that side.

4 Air Bag problem

Consumer states air bags deployed without any warning while driving (claim # 03-3160-903).

5 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 07/09/2000

Consumer states while driving a slight impact to underbody shield resulted in the air bag to deploying causing injury to consumer (claim#30-v241-449).
