Two problems related to instrument panel have been reported for the 2000 BMW 528. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Abs module fail at 127,000 k. This stops my speedometer from working along with my (dcs) traction control, gas gauge and the brake go into emergency mode. .
Abs control module fails ~ 5 minutes of starting the car. Abs, stability control system, and speedometer all fail and stop functioning. Control module must be replaced at a cost of ~$1500 to fix.
