The contact owns a 2007 BMW 650i. The contact stated that while driving approximately 20 mph, the power assist brake warning light illuminated. The contact stated that he continued to drive the vehicle and when arriving at his destination, he noticed that the vehicle was leaking brake fluid. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign id number: 10v446000 (service brakes, hydraulic:power assist:vacuum). The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 93,000 and the current mileage was 94,500.
