Air Bag Not Deploy Problems of BMW 740

I was traveling east bound on a 3 lane road, when a moving truck pulled out of a shopping center in a non signaled drive attempting to cross road to head west bound, what seemed to be last moment as I was continuing east bound the truck suddenly pulled out a cross road, leaving me minimal time to avoid collision, I braked but had no time to slow down, since truck pulled out what seemed within 10 feet of me, I was traveling approximately 40 mph, my car made impact with side of moving trucks cargo box, creating significant damage of front end (non drivable), what seemed to be one to two seconds later I was then rear ended by a pickup truck from behind, 911 was dispatched to seen and we were checked for injuries, I complained of neck and lower back pain, my son complained of pain at top of his head and later had small black eye. Our head rest on my BMW ejected forward, but airbag did not deploy, my complaint is the failure of air bag deployment at rate of speed of accident and high impact. Bmws representive only response is that sensors are very low and is possible why it did not deploy. I would like this investigated prior to my vehicle being repaired, my concern is for future safety.

Consumer states that when hit at 40mph in the front center of the vehicle the air bag did not deploy causing minor injuries to the consumer. Dealer notified. Ts.

Vehicle was hit broadside by another vehicle right in center of driver's door. Upon impact, airbags failed to deploy. Consumer has contacted dealer. Please provide any further information.

Airbags did not deploy despite direct hit to drivers side door at significant speed when they should have deployed. We want to obtain an independent appraisal of this since the manufacturer claims (and we dispute) that they should not have deployed.

While driving 3:00 position , driver's side air bag did not deploy upon impact at 40-45 mph, the other airbags did deployed.

While driving between 40-50 mph hit a concrete post direct center of vehicle. Theere was deployment of driver's or passenger's side airbags. Also this vehicle is equipped with side airbags which did not deploy. Cause unknown.

The vehicle hit a tree, and the air bags failed to deploy.
