Failure of the thruster bushings are seeping and starting to crack in the steering if the thrust arm bushings (or thrust rod bushings) on a BMW 7 series are seeping fluid and beginning to crack, there are some potential risks to be aware of. These bushings are critical components in the suspension system that absorb impacts, reduce vibrations, and maintain proper alignment. Here's a breakdown of potential risks: 1. **reduced ride comfort** - cracked or seeping bushings lose their ability to effectively dampen vibrations, leading to a harsher and less comfortable ride. 2. **steering instability** - damaged bushings can affect the alignment and cause the car to feel unstable during steering, especially under braking or during sharp turns. You may notice wandering or pulling to one side. 3. **increased tire wear** - faulty bushings may alter the suspension geometry, leading to uneven tire wear, which can become expensive if not addressed promptly. 4. **noise and vibrations** - you might hear clunking or creaking noises when going over bumps or during braking. Vibrations may also become more noticeable. 5. **safety concerns** - in extreme cases, if the bushings deteriorate significantly, they can fail entirely, causing loss of control during braking or sudden maneuvers. This is a serious safety risk. 6. **accelerated wear of other components** - compromised bushings can place additional stress on adjacent suspension components, such as ball joints, control arms, and even the shocks or struts, leading to premature failure. A chevy pickup pulled into the one way road leading to a hotel and immediately went around an ellipse and hit me as I was exiting my hotel and got hit in the drivers front quarter panel while he was pulling around in the elliptical one way drive. The engine was checked and it needs $5500 worth of mechanical work in order for it "to be safe to drive.

Start the car power steering froze, I have shut off the car and restart it fix the problem or I have to repeat. Sometime while driving steering freeze. I had hoses leak, replaced hoses still have more leaks. While driving car unstable, I changed tires problem remain the same. I checked all suspension components and all in good condition.
Three years ago I bought an aftermarket center steering link for my car. . . . Made in china. After three years, I detected significant play in the center link where there should be none. I order a second one and replaced it. After three months I detected play in the steering link, not as bad as after three years, but there should be zero play in this part. I replaced it today with and oem part and wanted to report the defective part which is being sold in high volume on the internet (ebay). I believe should this part fail completely, it would result in loss of steering and could result in a major accident. I will retain for a while the part I removed if someone is interested in this issue.
Steering and over all control of the vehicle is compromised for no reason feels like it is disconnecting and loose clanking noises form front suspension all the time on all surfaces also a squeaky old bed frame noise appears . Concerned about family safety the vehicle is well cared for. Feels like a sloppy messy fumbling interaction between car and steering wheel also veers randomly as if it was detached from the steering system.
When I get into my car the steering wheel is locked and I can't get it unlocked unless I turn on and off my caution lights or move the button back and forth on the console that has an a on one end and a m on the other. As soon as I get out of the car it locks and won't move unless I do that and I haven't figured out why this is happening. It just started within the last week. I need to know if this will cause me to have an accident and if I need to let the car sit until I get it fixed?.
