Two problems related to car accelerates on its own have been reported for the 2003 BMW 745. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While waiting at a traffic light, the consumer experienced sudden acceleration. The consumer had both feet on the brake. However, the vehicle continued to surge forward resulting in total loss of control of the vehicle damaging 5 other vehicles in the process. Provide further details.
While waiting at an intersection vehicle suddenly accelerated. Consumer was able to maintain control of the vehicle, and drove the vehicle to dealer for analysis. Mechanic told consumer that this was a design defect, and could not resolve the problem.
