Engine Failure problems of the 2005 BMW 745

Tl the contact owns a 2005 BMW 745li. On January 2, 2015 the contact was driving approximately 35 mph when the steering wheel began to turn only to the right on its own making it impossible for the contact to gain control of the vehicle and causing her to crash into a bridge through the railing and a pole. The contact was injured. A police report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed. The failure occurred twice. While driving approximately 55 mph in approximately 2011 on the highway the vehicle stalled; however, a warning light illuminated immediately after the failure occurred. The check engine fail safe mode was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer. The dealer stated that the alternator housing caused the failure to occur.
