The starter was replaced, but the vehicle continued to shake and stall. The service engine light remained illuminated. The contact had to tow the vehicle numerous times due to the failure. The vehicle was unable to be driven for several months. The manufacturer was not notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 107,000.
