Brake Master Cylinder problems of the 2007 BMW 750

1 Brake Master Cylinder problem

Failure Date: 04/02/2021

Tl the contact owns a 2007 BMW 750li. The contact stated while driving at 10 mph, the brakes failed to engage while the brake pedal was depressed. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to peake BMW (2630 veterans memorial blvd, kenner, la 70062) where it was diagnosed with the brake master cylinder needing to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The contact related the failure to an unknown recall. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The manufacturer notified the contact that the VIN was not under recall. The failure mileage was unknown.

2 Brake Master Cylinder problem

Failure Date: 10/20/2014

Tl- the contact owns a 2007 BMW 750li. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 55 mph, the brake pedal was applied and the brakes failed to respond. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where the vehicle was serviced under NHTSA campaign id number: 10v446000 (service brakes, hydraulic). The contact stated that the vacuum lines were replaced but waiting on the manufacturer¿s approval for the brake booster and master cylinder repairs. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000. Djr.
