Car Will Not Start problems of the 2008 BMW 750

The contact owns a 2008 BMW 750i. The contact stated that the vehicle would not start. In addition, the transmission warning light illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The VIN was not available. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000.

Where the car would not start, I had to repeatedly depress the start button, to have the car start. Next the remote door soft touch refused to work continuously, but the key fob would operate the door. While we were away I thought since the car battery was the original (installed in 07), I considered that perhaps power may have been the culprit and had aaa replace the battery while away form home. Recently 02/11/12, I had to take my 750 to the dealer because I had to drive home manually holding my drivers door closed. The soft close door would not latch. The dealer said it was because of the "comfort access system", and the part had to be replaced at a cost of $1200. 00.
