Engine Cooling System problems of the 2011 BMW 750

Two problems related to engine cooling system have been reported for the 2011 BMW 750. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Engine Cooling System problem

Failure Date: 08/21/2020

They have not fixed my cooling system. It saids that the recall was fixed but it was not.

2 Engine Cooling System problem

Failure Date: 08/10/2016

The contact owns a 2011 BMW 750li. The contact stated that the vehicle emitted a burning odor. In addition, the vehicle used an abnormal amount of coolant. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 18v248000 (engine and engine cooling); however, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. BMW of birmingham (1000 tom williams way, irondale, al) was contacted and confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and was not able to confirm when the parts were to become available. The failure mileage was 80,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
