1 Suspension problem of the 2017 BMW 750

Failure Date: 10/26/2023

The chasis function is limited on this vehicle due to failed right rear air suspension. Leaking right rear strut, and failed air compressor. Additionally, as a result my car needs an alignment. There was a service bulletin in regards to this exact issue in which BMW offered an extended warranty to repair vehicles free of charge up to 8 years/80,000 miles (mc-10215743-9999. Pdf) my vehicle is currently at 92,000 miles but within 8 years. I never received the notification. If I would have I could of had the vehicle inspected and fixed within the extended warranty time frame. I'm being told that BMW will not cover the cost because my vehicle is outside of the timeframe they agreed upon in the settlement. The cost is $ 8600. 00. This incident is the second issue I've faced. I purchased the vehicle certified from a BMW dealership. The initial problem I faced was with a failing braking system that was fixed through warranty after multiple trips to the dealership. I was at risk of the vehicle not stopping which could have resulted in a terrible accident. Now with this second issue I'm again at risk for my safety. BMW should be held accountable for producing vehicles with such safety concerns and at minimum be responsible for the cost to repair these issues.

I bought my car at 88,000 miles and I have to put oil I it every 200 miles and the suspension deflate every time I cut the car off and sometimes while I'm driving on the freeway, making it a very rocky ride. . I took it back to the guy that sold it to me he says it has a engine recall but that's something he should have told me before I spent $14,650 for the vehicle. I feel I bought a lemon and want what fair. I want my money back that too much to just throw away. I bought the car from aa motors arlington TX.

5 Suspension problem of the 2006 BMW 750

Failure Date: 12/15/2016

6 Suspension problem of the 2009 BMW 750

Failure Date: 01/08/2014

BMW rear struts life expectancy both failed one at mileage of 56924 and one at mileage 66529. Both failed in same year during cold conditions. Airbags were poorly constructed causing total failure. Cost combined for both repairs $5256. 44 paid by owner. Parts at that cost should have longer life expectancy or prices should have been much lower for parts that do no last more than 5 years. Does BMW offer reimbursement for faulty air bags replaced at owners cost? what is the fail rate for vehicles like the one in scenario? is it a systemic issue?.

8 Suspension problem of the 2006 BMW 750

Failure Date: 12/10/2011

Have a 2006 BMW 750i and was out running errands. I stopped at the dry cleaners to get my clothing. I only turned the vehicle off for about 10 minutes while I went inside the dry cleaners. I paid for my items and went to restart the engine but when I put the vehicle in reverse no movement happened. I shut the vehicle down completely and restarted it. I put the vehicle in r for reverse and it switched back to p for park. The vehicle again was turned off and restarted and it did the same thing nothing. I called my spouse and he was able to put the vehicle in reverse by edging the vehicle while in reverse mode. While my spouse was backing out of the parking space the vehicle jerked. I often notice that if I park on a hill and go in reverse the vehicle jerks and makes a loud noise I just had the vehicle serviced recently and according to the inspection that the BMW service did the transmission is good.

9 Suspension problem of the 2006 BMW 750

10 Suspension problem of the 2011 BMW 750

Failure Date: 10/18/2010

Since new, my car¿s steering has pulled dangerously to the right, such that my hands must remain on the steering wheel to keep the car driving straight, and if I let go and coast the car veers to the right and into neighboring lanes on a moment¿s notice. Four alignments have been performed to the car by two manufacturer authorized dealerships, all of which have not remedied the problem, and have caused the problem to worsen, if anything. This problem does not only affect my model, the 2011 BMW 7 series, but 2010 and 2011 BMW 5 series as well, as there are numerous pages documenting same on internet message boards, to the extent that it appears BMW is aware of the problem, but that they are returning cars to customers after supposed repairs or after claiming that there are no problems at all by falsifying repair orders - only for the problem to remain, if not worsen. This is a dangerous predicament that needs to be publicized so people are aware. Please advise at your earliest and please contact me with any questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
