On 11-19-2017 while driving on a city roadway. My passenger car door suddenly opened and to avoid any physical damage to my passenger I abruptly turn my vehicle to a safer position. No soon after that I notice my vehicle leveling warning sign appear on the dash. With research, I found out that opening door linked up to recall on the NHTSA. I proceeded to call BMW for the fix. Not knowing the mechanics of the vehicle, I assumed this fix will fix the door lock and the leveling problem. However, I got the door fixed but the leveling problem got even worse after the lock got fixed. I picked up my vehicle on 12-23-2017. Tthe leveling is a high safety concern. I would like to know if the issue exists with these cars and I would like a remedy for my situation. I contacted BMW, but they will not fix the issue as a recall.
09 BMW 750li suddenly slowed down on the highway after a dsc malfunction/ transmition malfunction light came on. Vehicle just received the n63 recall service. This is vary dangerous. The vehicle would not accelerate at all. Vehicle was traveling around 70 miles per hour before it started shaking and slowing down in fast moving traffic.
The front light bulbs have blown on the left side twice. The harness wire connection is faulty. Also the dynamic drive inactive while the transmission jerks when you accelerate after vehicle stops.
Took the BMW 745li in to the dealership for slow to start cranking and second opinion. Also wanted the dealership to review airbag light and dsc. Upon review by the dealership, all four door tags and szl (comfort access) is causing battery drain and must be replaced. Also was quoted that the cluster needed to be replaced and a fuel line leak is present. After speaking with a manager, it was decided that they were not sure if the door tags and szl would assist with clearing the slow crank. I opted the service from that dealer and decided to pick up the vehicle. After driving about 5 miles, I realized that the car reeked of gas. This was not an apparent issue when driving the vehicle in to the dealership. The dealership has caused more hardship than assistance.
