One problem related to defogger has been reported for the 2004 BMW X3. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The contact turned the defogger on to defrost the windows in vehicle. Fifteen minutes later he was driving down the road and realized the rear window had shattered. He contacted the manufacturer. The vehicle is currently at the dealership to repair the rear window.
