Seat mat sensor module which detects presence of passenger in the seat has malfunctioned sooner than expected.
Airbag malfunction. The warning on the car is passenger restraint system malfunction.
Passenger seatbelt sensor warning failure.
Takata recall - received notice from class action settlement stating the takata air bags are defective in my BMW. Have not received a recall notice as of yet. Would like to resolve this problem due to safety concerns.
Takata recall received notice of recall 1st week of July, 2017. Contacted perillo BMW, 1035 n clark st, chicago, IL 60610, on July 8, 2017. Was told that the part was not in stock, and that they would have to order the part. I was told that they would call back within a week or two to schedule an appointment. I have had no further information from perillo BMW, now more than three weeks later. They have not honored the recall.
