My new 2007 BMW X3 hesitates when accelerating and seems to shift in peculiar ways. It suffers from a lack of response which is totally unlike my first 6 BMW's. It is quite un-drivable as it is.

Vehicle does not properly respond to my pressing the gas pedal and hesitates to move forward. Also, severely lurches forward on deceleration, especially on declines. Very unsafe.
