One problem related to accelerator pedal has been reported for the 2000 BMW X5. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Problem is a defect in gas pedal. If consumer wears a size twelve shoe or higher, foot catches on a part that goes freeley from gas pedal to brake pedal. A light fixture is between the gas and brake pedals, making it hard to apply foot on the pedals.
