One problem related to fuel pump has been reported for the 2001 BMW X5. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Fuel leaking from fuel pump seal into passenger's compartment and outside . Prior to the problem, dealer replaced fuel pump. Since then, dealer has inspected vehicle and replaced fuel tank. Please provide additional information.
