Two problems related to side/window air bag have been reported for the 2008 BMW X5. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Takata recall - it has been about 9 months and there is still no repair parts for the driver side airbag. No parts also for the passenger airbag and now fuel pump.
There has been a recall on the driver side air bag since 2/5/2016 and the passenger's side air bag since 5/25/2016. When I contact BMW they have no information on when this will be repaired, and I am now reluctant to drive the car.
