One problem related to electrical jack has been reported for the 2011 BMW X5. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
This car only has a little over 40k miles. Was driving long distance on freeway and slowly I notice strange noise coming from the wheel well area from inside the car. I jacked the car up and do a spin and turn out it is the bearing making noise. Can't believe this fails at such a low mileage. Will this affect the driveshaft or anything safety of the car at high speed. Please let me know if BMW has a recall for this. Thanks.
