Fuel pump stopped working almost died on highway after car stalled and wouldnt let me drive while it turned off . I cant believe a fuel pump is bad at 107 k miles . Ive read multiple forums on same issue w other X6 this needs immediate attention someone could die .
The contact owns a 2012 BMW X6. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer and was informed that there was an unknown recall associated to the VIN. The dealer completed recall repairs. The contact stated on July 16, 2021 while her husband was driving 60 mph, the vehicle stalled. The contact stated that the check engine and battery warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not drivable. The contact towed the vehicle to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing the engine to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired but was pending repairs. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 74,900.

Tl the contact owns a 2012 BMW X6. While driving 45 mph, the vehicles ceased to function and all the instrument panel warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was towed to BMW northwest (4011 20th st e, tacoma, wa 98424, (253) 922-8700) where it was diagnosed with two damaged vanos solenoids and the battery needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 120,000.
I was recently on a highway driving and my car suddenly came to a halt, shaking and vibrating whiles other cars were behind me. I almost lost my life in accident with a trailer truck who quickly maneuvered from behind me. I drove the car to a BMW dealership and I was told that the fuel injectors created that problem. The car has less than 90k miles on it and BMW is refusing to accept the fact that this is safety issue which could have ended my life. I am requesting at this point for bwm to open a campaign for these fuel injectors or the government issue a recall on them. I need all of my BMW X6 fuel injectors replaced by BMW . A service advisor told me , it is best to get all the injectors replaced because this is a common problem with the n63 engine and they have been fighting hard for BMW na to issue a recall on them because it is costing them tons of money in civil suits. Again I need this fuel injectors replaced on my car as quickly as possible because I have no means of transportation to school , work or clinical rotation and this is severely affecting my grades. If no action is taken by BMW , I am very prepared to retain an attorney to file a class suit against them with every dime I have.
Engine malfunction. Engine operating at reduced output. Engine has malfunctioned numerous times. Shuts down to reduced output, without warning and without allowance for traffic conditions, only allowing for 4-5 mph travel. Extreme danger! BMW has a "customer care package" that is a recall, although they are not calling it a recall. However, all parts of recall have been replaced on vehicle and now having to drive a vehicle that has not been fixed, that I am afraid to drive in traffic and do not trust to have enough power to merge onto interstate. BMW is simply throwing parts at a serious problem that has the potential to harm thousands of people.
Was slowing vehicle while entering onto interstate ramp at a sharp left. Vehicle shifted into neutral and shut down engine. No ability to steer or brake. Also happened while sitting a traffic light.
