Three problems related to air bag have been reported for the 1996 BMW Z3. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

Consumer states that the air bag senor light comes on and stay, which may result in permature air bag deployment,or none deployment of air bag in an accident. Contacted dealer,they stated that the seat belt was the cause. Had it replace, problem still occurs. Nlm.
