One problem related to front seat belt buckle assembly has been reported for the 1996 BMW Z3. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Front passenger seatbelt locks- sometimes unusable -ratchett assembly- dealer replaced 3 x - still not working -dealer &BMW manuf claim nothing they can do about it????? other owners have same complaint.
