One problem related to fuses and circuit breaker has been reported for the 1996 BMW Z3. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Electrical type smoke is seen underneath steering column. Dealer noted problem was a fuse. Problem has not stopped. Dealer then noted a faulty instrument panel. Problem remains.
